Custom Shed Builder - Fargo, ND

I had been looking online at pre-build sheds for several months. Once I decided it was time to buy, the sheds I had been looking at had been sold, so I started looking again. This time, I found SquareShed and liked that they build onsite, they use 2"x6" boards for floor trusts (pre-built only used 2"x4"), you don't have to tear down your fence to get a pre-built shed into your backyard, and the price was similar to (if not less than) the smaller pre-built sheds I had considered. I called them on 9/5/24 (after 5:00pm) to ask some questions and the owner actually answered the phone (impressive). He asked me to submit a request online so he could get me a quote and told me to contact the City of Fargo to start a building permit application for my 12' x 24' shed (you don't need a permit for some smaller sheds). On 9/16/24, one of their men came over to see exactly where the shed would go in my yard, confirm the size/features I wanted, and get my deposit. Later that same day, the owner emailed me the drawings I needed to submit with my permit application and gave me the answers I needed for questions on the application I wasn't sure how to answer. On 9/20/24, I got my permit from the City. On 9/24/24, the crew arrived to start building. By mid-afternoon the next day, my shed was finished, my yard had been cleaned up, and they were gone (when they said they'd get it done in 2 days I wasn't sure they'd be able to do it -- but they did!). Now I just need to move everything I want from the garage and my older, smaller sheds (that my wife is VERY happy I'm getting rid of) into the shed. Go online. Check them out. Beau and his assistant built my 10X8 shed in about six hours! He explained to me how he can level the shed in the event the ground ever shifts and assured me that a quick call to him if anything goes wrong will fix it. I'm very impressed with the sturdiness of it and know I won't have to worry about snow collapsing this shed!

My husband and I both agree this little "she" shed has exceeded our expectations. Beau was so nice to work with did such a great job. Now my only problem is keeping it as a "she" shed and not a "he" shed.

The Square Shed crew was top notch from start to finish. They were great on the build design, answering questions, and worked with me on any special requests. The whole process was on time and the clean up was so good, you wouldn't even know they were there. I highly recommend Square Shed for anyone.

He provided everything I wanted in a shed. The shingles, paint color, windows and shutters match or are at least similar to my house. We had him do the painting because he uses high quality paint and does good work. He demolished and hauled away the old shed. All the materials for the new shed had to be hauled by hand from the front yard to the backyard because there is no easy access to where I wanted it built. We were very impressed with the quality of his work, how accessible he was through emails and the calls he made back and forth from West Fargo building department. It didn't take long from planning the new shed, demolition of the old one, to having the finished product that easily passed building inspection.

The shed SquareShed built for me is perfect! Beau is great at communicating throughout the process, which I really appreciated. More importantly though, he built a sturdy, high-quality shed with close attention to detail at a very reasonable cost. Plus, he did it all in one day! I hope he expands his business and adds decks or stairs to his offerings. I'd be very happy to his business again.

I highly recommend these guys! They built me a 12x16 shed that I'll be using for a woodworking shop in my backyard. Even upgrading to 8' sidewalls, they were a better price than the prebuilt shed I was originally going to get. All around great experience, and I'm really happy with the build quality.

We contacted SquareShed in early spring to build a studio shed in our back yard. Our request was a bit different from their standard shed, but they were great to work with us on using a mix of their standard materials and additional materials like a French door, insulated floor, and plans for us to insulate it after the build was done. Beau did an excellent job with communication every step of the way, even when I was making changes or we were collaborating on decisions to keep costs reasonable and deliver what I was looking for. The work SquareShed did was great, and we have since completed the inside of the shed and use it every day.
